Rijeka, Port Town

Nestled in a garden with exotic plants is Villa Angiolina, a jewel from the early 19th century, which now houses the Croatian Tourism Museum.
Another historical highlight is the Church of St. James, whose origins date back to the 16th century. Immerse yourself in the rich history of Opatija and let yourself be enchanted by the impressive architecture and idyllic atmosphere. The vegetable, fruit, and fish market is open from 7:00 am to 11:00 am.
Kastav
Kastav, an enchanting small town perched atop a 365-foot-high hill, offers breathtaking views of the entire Kvarner Bay. The town has a fascinating history dating back to the remnants of the Illyrian Japodi tribe. These remnants, originating from the 10th century BCE, extend across the present-day city area. Kastav is home to a population of just under 10,000 residents, many of whom are engaged in the tourism sector.
Apart from its rich cultural heritage and proximity to the sea with the beautiful beaches of Opatija, Kastav provides its visitors with numerous promenades, cycling paths, and entertainment events such as the Kastav Festival and the International Guitar Festival. A visit to the Parish Church of St. Jelena Križarice, situated at the highest point of Kastav and surrounded by a medieval city wall with nine defense towers, is highly recommended.

Pula, Istria

Along the coastal road, you will find the cities of Lovran, Mošćenička Draga, Labin, Umag, and the artistic town of Motovun. Not far from our Villa White Pearl Diamond is the Učka Nature and Hiking Park. Further inland, you will reach the truffle town of Buzet.
Also, visit the cities of Rovinj or Poreč, both picturesque port cities along the Adriatic. Both cities enchant with their flair and are highlights worldwide.
Great excursion opportunities also arise with the two nearby islands of Krk and Cres. Krk is connected to the mainland by a bridge, while you can visit the island of Cres by ferry departing from Brestova.
Noteworthy is also the multicultural city of Trieste in Italy, which can be reached by car in approximately 60 minutes (only about 80 km away) via the country road.
