Around Opatija

Opatija is a great starting point for day trips to Istria, Italy, and the most beautiful beaches on the Kvarner Riviera. It's also ideal for scenic motorcycle tours and hikes. The Lungomare is a 12 km coastal promenade with views of the city and neighboring islands. Opatija and the surrounding coastal towns can be explored by boat departing from Opatija or Volosko. Visit Mošćenička Draga, take a stroll in the old town of Lovran, cool off in the seawater at Ičići, or simply enjoy the soothing sound of the waves. Since we are situated above Opatija, the best way to get around is by car or motorcycle. Bicycles are recommended for those in excellent physical condition. For our four-legged friends, we have fantastic walks along the Lungomare coastline, approximately 12 km from Volosko to Lovran, with designated fenced dog beaches.
